   I and my wife recently traveled to Mount Shasta in our quest to find more answers to our spiritual questions and the meaning of 44. It is one of the more beautiful places on earth and is known for its vortexes and sacred sites. The beauty and serenity that you will find here is unique.

It has more rock, crystal and spiritual stores within a three block radius than you will find anywhere else. Everything from singing crystal bowls to health food stores to 60s clothing can be found here. 

    As we were not familiar with the area, we hired a guide to show us the various places where we might find answers. Andrew from "Mountain Journeys" was our guide this time and was very helpful and open to exploring the questions we had. I consider him to have been one of our better guides and should I return will hire him again. I do not think that we could have found many of these places on our own and was glad to have hired a guide that saved us a lot of time and trouble.

Although we did not find the answer to the number 44 or 144, we did find answers to other personal questions. The trip also gave us a better idea of what direction that we want to go with our lives. I will return to Mt. Shasta if for no other reason than to enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery.

   It should be noted that on this trip we saw the number 44 more times than anywhere else.

It should also be noted that we had many unusual experiences such as this bird landing next to us and seemingly unafraid. It is a wonderful place just to visit and the unusual experiences we had, made it that much more special. We will return.

Just an update, the number 44 has been spiking again lately. I have been looking for a correlation between the spikes and world events. I have not as yet been able to pinpoint the correlation. This is due to in large part of not knowing what the lag time may or may not be. If the number 44 shows up one or two days before an event it would be easy to pinpoint. But the lag time may be longer and as a result difficult to tell whether that had anything to do with the number showing up. Studies with random number generators indicate the lag time should be very short. One such study has random number generators posted worldwide and they are monitored for fluctuations 24 hours a day. Usually prior to world events, spikes are seen as little as a few hours prior to the event. When the World Trade Centers fell on 9/11 there was a spike in the system that occurred only a few hours prior to the event.

Could this be what we have all been looking for? Could it be that the Vector Equilibrium with 12 points be the 144 we are looking for. Is it possible that 144 is a message? The chosen or not chosen

I have noticed that a great number of followers seem to think that seeing these numbers somehow makes them one of the so-called chosen. Let me make it perfectly clear, I am not a follower of organized religion. I have always learned to question everything and the answers I have gotten from organized religion are not good ones. This is not to say I don't believe in a creator, but too many times in the past organized religion has twisted people and events into things that they are not, for their own gains. As for those who believe in organized religion. I believe that everybody has to believe in something, so long as they are not looking to revive the Inquisition and witch burnings.
I believe that seeing the number is simply a matter of being aware of what is going on around you. I believe that anyone can see the number if they so choose to notice that it's there. As to what it means or what it does is up to the individual. I believe that if someone thinks that it is a bad omen, then it is. But if someone thinks positive thoughts then it is a positive thing.
As far as noticing things, there is something that people all over the world have failed to notice. Fear, fear is being used by the old order of power to control and manipulate the rest of the world. If you watch TV ads, most of them are negative. If you watch the news, most of it is negative. If you go to church you're told you they are going to go to hell if you don't do this or that. There is a reason for this and it's called control a person who is fearful, is more easily controlled than one that fears nothing. The purveyors of fear are trying to retain control of the world and in reality they have control of nothing except that which people give them control of. People who are fearful will give up their freedom and everything else at the drop of a hat all a politician has to do is tell them he will save them from this or that if they will just simply give up their freedom, their possessions or whatever. If anything, I believe the number 44 is a sign of an awakening that the people are starting to notice the lies that are being purveyed in the world. This world has the potential of being so much more if we would just simply stop listening to the lies and fear that pervades our society's. I have personally been to places and communities where fear does not exist and I have seen paradise. As one of my graphic design says "when are God's children going to start acting like adults?"
So when you see the number 44, 144. Think good thoughts. Think positive and believe that the world can be a better place. And the next time you see a commercial realize they're trying to sell you something you may not need or want. That the only way that they can sell it to you is if you're afraid. Afraid of being safe, afraid of being less than you can be, afraid of not being good enough, afraid of what someone will do if you don't have it. And above all, remember that if you're seeing these numbers that anything is possible. And that chosen or not the universe has just giving you a gift. One that says everything is all right and that everything will be taken care of and that anything is possible. That 2012 is not the end of the world and that for every ending there is a new beginning.

Thoughts of a universe

The Soul is a string of thoughts projected into the universe, creating a body or vessel into which we experience what it is to be born, live and then die, during which we are allowed to make choices that ultimately decide how and where we come into this universe, how we live and die. It is these choices that determine the quality and quantity of life. Life is not random even thou it may appear so and choices do not dictate how an event will play out. In order to reach an end result of a choice that has been made, the event will take the path of least resistance, painful or pleasant does not matter. Be careful what you wish for because the path of least resistance may be a painful one.

It still amazes me that in this day and age people still can be blind as a door nail. You talk about seeing something odd such as the number 144 or 44 and your considered nuts or postal. If I told you i saw a man float in mid air would I get the same thing? If I told you it was someone doing street magic would I be crazy? If I told you I met someone who could taste spoken words, would you consider me crazy or would you just be ignorant? Do you trust everything you see, taste, hear, feel and smell ? If you do I feel sorry for you, as you are only seeing part of the real world. hELL did I just write hell or did I write 7734 upside down. The truth [if there is one] is in how you look at it. So the final question is do you view the world as full of spiteful evil people or do you think the world is full of helpful good people? It's your choice, it's your reality. P.S. Saw the number 44 a lot last week still not sure what to make of it, but as my wife would say "It's all good"

My wife found this little guy wondering in the front yard. Glad I found him before the cats did. Almost did not see him my self as he blended in with sticks and grass. As I live on the edge of a desert and find my self returning many animal back to there natural home. I managed to get a few good photos as he found a new home.
Most people would have killed him upon seeing him. As I said most people only see what they want to. This little 12" snake will grow up to be a 3 to 5 foot snake that eats rattle snakes. He is non-poison's looks like a rattle snake, eats other snakes and lizards and mice. A neighbor found and killed a full grown one last year and a month later found two rattles snakes in his back yard. I personaly would rather have the bull snake in my yard. Rattle snakes will go out of there way to aviod these snakes and as a result if you see bull snakes (desert gopher snake) you won't see rattle snakes.
So if you see a snake don't be a green horn and kill it. If its not bothering you or a danger to you, leave it alone. All living things serve a purpose, even rattle snakes.
